Derek Burgan lives the life that many of the people you see on TV live. Unfortunately, those people are all from NBC's To Catch a Predator. A home library filled to capacity with comic books, collections of The Onion, and wrestling books combined with a DVD collection that includes no less than three different versions of Army of Darkness, leads one to believe Derek might not have what most people refer to as "social skills." It is rumored that Derek pleasures himself to screencaps of Wendi Richter on the Hulk Hogan's Rock 'N Wrestling cartoon, but that has yet to be confirmed by sources outside ofSan Jose, CA and Woodinville, WA.

Age: 34

Hometown: Port St. Lucie, Florida

Hobbies: Movies, Jeffrey Deaver novels, using his DVR to watch as many TV shows as humanly possible, Brittany Spears merchandise (Pre Federline).

Wrestling Fan since: 1983, from the moment he flipped the channel on the TV and saw Sgt. Slaughter wrestling the Masked Superstar.

Stupidest Wrestling-Oriented admissions:  Seemingly out of his mind, Derek bought a Beulah McGillicutty t-shirt and autographed card at an ECW house show in Revere, MA back in the day. Sadly, years later he embarrassingly threw out the shirt but is still holding onto the card. There was a time that Derek felt he "owed" wrestling fans weekly reviews of the television show SmackDown and turned down many nights out to watch and report on the actions of oiled-up, hairless men who pretend to hit each other. Shockingly, his now ex-fiancÚ did not share that passion and dedication.

TWF debut: March 2006.

Known for: Book reviews, DVD reviews, wrestling comic book reviews, SmackDown Express, Burganomics, HYPE, Curtain Jerkers, On the Road, Cheap Pops!, GumGod at the Movies, Kayfabulator 5000, the Gimmick Table, the Wrestling Enjoyment Index, and the only 1 Night in China review with screencaps.
